TESTED, NOT ASSUMED
Compatibility and verification method
The glasses and videos tested, the results and the limits to know about.
The glasses and platform tested
The badge was confirmed on Facebook with Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 glasses: a trimmed video, an added title, a Premiere export and an MP4 edit. Oakley glasses, other generations and Instagram still need testing.
What the service adds to your file
The service uses information from a Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 reference video to prepare your files. This includes its identifier and date: it does not recover the original date or information from your own video. Use it for footage recorded with compatible glasses.
How we check the result
The service checks that the file contains video and checks the result, its duration, picture and sound. Our tests also compare content before and after preparation. Check the badge by posting the result on Facebook.
Reference results
Our tests on a 150 MB MP4 edit and a Premiere export preserved picture, sound and their timing. The service output for the MP4 is identical to the file whose Facebook badge was confirmed.
What cannot be promised
Facebook and Instagram decide whether to display the badge and may change their criteria. Preparing a video does not guarantee a badge or more views. Each new model needs testing before it can be listed as compatible.
