Keep the Ray-Ban Meta badge after editing your video
How to prepare your edited video to help bring back the glasses badge on Facebook.
The short answer
Finish your edit, save it as MP4 or MOV and drop it into KeepMyBadge. Download the prepared video and post it on Facebook to check the badge. Facebook decides whether to display it.
Why editing can affect the badge
An editor may remove the information that identifies your glasses. In our Premiere test, the badge disappeared. Preparing the video with KeepMyBadge brought it back on Facebook. A badge can also be missing for other reasons.
The workflow we tested
We tested a video shortened by two seconds, then a version with a title: both showed the badge. It disappeared after Premiere export and returned after preparation with KeepMyBadge. A separate 150 MB MP4 edit also worked on Facebook.
Prepare your finished edit
Keep the size and frame rate of your video where possible. Save your edit as MP4 or MOV, drop it here and download the result. Renaming the file is not enough to prepare it.
What still needs verification
Tests were confirmed on Facebook with Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 glasses. Other models and Instagram still need testing. Another export or a change to Facebook may affect the result.
