Your edit is yours. Here is what happens when you prepare it.

Server-side preparation

Your file is uploaded to the server to prepare a copy of your video without losing quality. It is not published in a gallery or made into a page accessible to search engines. The service does not use an AI model to process your video.

Retention and deletion

The uploaded original is deleted after successful preparation. Results expire two hours after preparation; unfinished uploads expire two hours after creation. Automatic cleanup runs every minute. The delete button lets you remove files earlier. Downloads require the browser session that created the upload.

Session and service protection

A necessary session cookie connects your browser to its files and protects requests. The service limits new uploads to ten per hour per network address. For this limit, it stores a keyed hash of the IP address for up to 25 hours. Videos are not used for analytics. No advertising tool or third-party tracker is embedded.

Service statistics

We count page views, their source when available, and video operations: format, size, duration, preparation, errors and downloads started. Statistics contain no video content, filenames or plain IP addresses. A network-address hash that changes daily estimates visitors; it is deleted within seven days. Video operation details are kept for 90 days and daily totals for up to one year. These measurements use no extra cookie or third-party service.

Your information requests

The form sends your name, email address and message to our mailbox so we can reply. It accepts no attachments and does not subscribe you to advertising. The captcha runs on our server without a third-party service; it expires after five minutes and each attempt consumes it. Sending limits use a hash of your network address, kept for up to 25 hours. Your request remains in our mailbox to follow up on the conversation; you can ask us to delete it.

Technical logs

The server may keep access and error logs to operate the service. These can contain the network address, time and requested page address. The application does not add video contents to these logs.
