Upload either MP4 or MOV
You can upload MP4 or MOV. KeepMyBadge returns a MOV, the format used in our successful Facebook tests. This does not mean Facebook always requires this format.
Renaming is not conversion
Renaming a file from .mp4 to .mov does not prepare the video. Drop your file into KeepMyBadge and download the copy created by the service.
How quality is preserved
KeepMyBadge keeps your picture and sound intact. We checked their content and timing before and after preparation. If a file cannot keep its quality, the service lets you know.
Why file size can change
Preparation changes how the file is organised without changing picture or sound. Its size may vary slightly. In our 150 MB MP4 test, the difference was only 3,169 bytes.
If your export is rejected
Check that your video plays to the end. In your editor, try exporting MP4 or MOV with H.264 video and AAC audio, then drop the new export into KeepMyBadge.
